Vicky and Marisol Terrazas are extremely talented Vicky dominates musical instruments like the trumpet, tambura and she sings opera. Marisol also dominates the accordion, saxophone and the keyboards. Besides them being talented this sister duo are humble, friendly, and extremely brave.

“Los Horoscopos de Durango,” have won 4+ Billboard Awards and Latin Grammys. They have over 20 plus musical disc recorded and 15 plus music videos recorded. These two girls are a power sister duo.

Now, I will leave you with Vicky Terrazas interview I hope you enjoy it.

Q: Vicky, what’s your morning routine?

A: I start off by stepping into the bathroom. Hahaha, she laughs. I drink a glass of water, I’ll then go make myself coffee and while my coffee is brewing I’ll cut fruit.  It’s almost always the same fruit kiwis, papaya, pineapple anything that is tropical, I love tropical. While I’m eating my fruit I’ll sit in front of my laptop reading my emails and making calls.

Q: If you could be a fruit what fruit would you be and why?

A: Ah, it would have to be a pineapple, I love pineapple but I just thought of sometime that I had not thought of. You know when you first eat pineapple and you’re not used to it leaves your tongue scalded, I think I’m that type of person. At first I might not be your favorite cup of pineapple because I might be quiet and reserved. I keep to myself, but when you get to know me just like when you get used to the pineapple you appreciate the flavor and its sweet like me.

Q: What do you think of the friend rule? The friend rule is that if your friend, sister, niece or cousin likes or thinks someone is handsome their off limits.

A: Exactly, Marisol and I are the same too between sisters and friends you respect that rule. For example, one time I had a friend that she had a friend that really liked this guy that I knew. This girl my friend ended up with that guy and I got really upset because this girl is supposedly your best friend and you know she likes the guy I know. Why would she do that? She didn’t even like him like that or that much. How do you accept for me to trust her? I told her you know I’m sorry but if you did that to your best friend then I don’t want to be your friend.

Q: What do you feel when your fans sing your music?

A: It might sound like cliché but it’s not. This is the best feeling that’s what we live for and working for. When I see that the people are actually singing our songs it’s a feeling of fulfillment and happiness. I always get goose bumps.

Q: What is the most difficult part before getting on stage?

A: I still get nervous before stepping on stage, and I still like to have my time to chill. I’ll start going crazy if I start getting bombarded with different things like look you need to call this person or here take care of this, I’ll tell everyone, “WAIT” I’m about to go on stage and I want to go up relaxed.

Q: What is the hardest thing once you’re on stage?

A: I would have to say if my shoe unties or my outfit rips. Hahaha. When I’m on stage I think the hardest thing is when you see that the crowd is not into it, and you start thinking ok what’s next, what song or what else should we do? Trying to keep the crowd happy.

Q: What have you had to sacrifice for your singing career?

A: A lot of things but one has been my education. I was half way through two majors when the band had a hit so I had to leave school I couldn’t finish my education. Everything was hands on training so I couldn’t do it on online. It was really hard for me and my teachers were upset, I do regret it, but maybe later on if I still have brain cells I’ll go back. That’s one of the things I feel I sacrificed to my family education has always been really important. Another thing is my love life has been a little bit harder than Marisol’s love life.  I would love to have a family but I don’t think that is going to be possible because we are always doing projects with the band and I think to myself this year were doing this so I can’t get pregnant. I thought to myself maybe next year I can become pregnant but let’s see what happens next year.

Q: Do you have pets? If yes what kind of pet.

A: I do, I have Sasha she is a Chihuahua.

Q: What habit do you have?

A: When I was little I used to carry around a little blanket and I liked the smell. When they would take it away to wash it I would cry and have a fit. I really liked that specific smell I’m not sure exactly what the smell was but I liked it a lot, it was probably a dirty smell. Ha-ha. Til this day when I want to sleep I still have the habit of smelling something like my shelve, scarf, sweater, pillow or my cover.

Q: When you’re off of stage what type of shoes do you like wearing besides high heels?

A: What shoes do I like to wear? Sandals. Flat sandals with no heel.

Q: What do you preserve from your childhood?

A: I have this doll that her name is Cricket and that was the last doll my mom gave me before she passed away. I was so excited because this doll she talked, she would sing and she had a cassette play on her back so every time you would play the cassette she would sing, move her eyes and stuff like that she was fun and I liked her a lot and my mom gave her to me.

Q: If you had to describe yourself in one word what word would it be?

A: Passionate. I’m passionate in my career, in my relationship, with my family and when I love I love.

Q: If you had the opportunity to have your mom in front of you what would you tell her?

A: I would tell her I love her and I wish she could be here with us because before she would help us design your outfits for our presentations. It would be every nice to have our personal designer.

Here is Marisol Terrazas interview. I hope you enjoy it.

Q: Tell us about an important lesson of your life and what did you learn from it?

A: I lost a lot of important moments in daughter’s life because I wouldn’t give her those 2 or 3 minutes, I was always rushing. So now that my grandson was born I learned to slow down and take those 2 or 3 minutes and spend more quality time and not quantity time. I enjoy every minute with Juliansito my grandson. I’m enjoying everything he is doing and learning he’s a big baby.

Q: What do you preserve from your childhood?

A: Ah, I don’t have anything from my childhood. Well, yes it’s a memory from the house where we lived as little girls with our mom. It is a can of paint that just hung in my mom’s garage and now its hanging in my garage. I also have a family tree that was carved it has my parents name, Vicky’s and my name. I have that in my house too.

Q: Marisol, what’s your morning routine?

A: My routine is trying to get out of bed… trying to get out of my bed. I’m not a morning person at all. I’ll start off by make my coffee, I have to have my coffee in the mornings every morning and then I’ll go feed my dogs. That’s my morning routine.

Q: Ok, so you have pets?

A: Yes, I have my Remmy and Fifi their 14 and 15 years old already.

Q: What do you think of the friend rule? The friend rule is that if your friend, sister, niece or cousin likes or thinks someone is handsome their off limits.

A: I do respect the friend rule I respect it very much, I even respect the sister rule it applies to the friend rule. For example there had been times before I got married that Vicky would say “oh my god he’s so hot” and I would say “oh my god he’s hot too,” but once I saw they would catch Vicky’s eye it was an automatic “oh no he off limits.” Even when my friends have had boyfriends and they leave each other or something, I’ve never been or dated a friend’s ex-boyfriend or family member.

Q: What have you had to sacrifice for your singing career?

A: I would have to say I’ve scarified my daughter’s childhood, I missed a lot of special and important moments. For example, I remember one of the first times that we came to Phoenix it was my daughter’s first holy communion and as soon the church mass was over we didn’t have time to go and take pictures or nothing. We had to hurry up because we had to catch a flight and a show to due here in Phoenix. Vicky was and is my daughter’s godmother. That was one moment but there has been a bunch of moments, a bunch of moments when she was sick I couldn’t stay because I had to go do our shows. Any missed and can’t gain back moments.

Q: What have been the hardest comments you have received and what have you learned from them?

A: There is a lot of people that are rude and with ugly feelings they will say things to hurt your feelings but you learn to ignore them. Before I used to get really mad and fight back by telling them to go f**k themselves on social media but now I’ve learned that blocking them is much easier. I will not let them get under my skin and make me explode.

Q: When you’re off of stage what type of shoes do you like wearing besides high heels?

A: I love to wear tennis or croc shoes, there comfy.

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Pizza. I love pizza.

Q: If you had the opportunity to have your mom in front of you, what would you tell her?

A: I would tell my mom I love her and miss her very much.
